Just recently we made a small change to our handrails 'section' of the business. My wife, Leah has set up her own business to run alongside our gates business to just fabricate and fit bespoke handrials in and around the York area. She has her own website and Facebook page which give details of the business. All her handrails are fabricated and fitted to current UK building regulations and each item is made to fit. The handrails are all metal and although decorative and available in any colour, they are strong and fitted securely to do the job they are there for!

Leah is happy to quote for anything from a small grab rail at the side of a door, to a long run of balustrading and handrail along a landing and steps or ramp. Private residences, Care Homes, Medical centres, schools, public and private buildings and communal areas are some of the areas Leah can provide handrails if required.

Always a difficult subject to discuss, but let's talk money! Over the last few months we have seen steel prices increase by a massive amount. The same as most other items, however steel has nearly doubled in the last few months. Unfortunately we are having to pass this increase on to our customers. This is done when we quote for any work. Once a quote is accepted we promise not to come back to you and ask for extra money. The reason for our 50% deposit when ordering enables us to buy the materials for your job at the price we have quoted. We then sit on them in the workshop until we are in a position to fabricate your items. It's the fairest way to do it for all concerned.
